Pothole-ridden roads in Siddarthanagar

Sir,

A major problem in Siddarthanagar is the roads that are filled with potholes. If you start from Nazarbad Police Station towards Milk Dairy, in front of the dairy we can see the potholes. Still if you come towards Income Tax Office, that road has been in a disturbing state from the past 10 years.

From MRC Eye Hospital to Kurubarahalli, the drainage work was completed one year before and the potholes were closed with mud because of which, the two-lane road has now reduced to single lane.

Further if you come from the main road of Siddarthanagar, potholes can be listed as follows: In front of AV Hospital bus top, in front of JSS Public School and GSSS School, in front of Jain Temple.

If you move forward to Sangeetha Corner, the road is filled with vehicles and none of the car owners will park in the designated parking zone. As a result, the city buses can’t move freely thus creating too much  traffic chaos. All the interior roads in Siddarthanagar are very bad.

Main Roads connecting to Bannur, Chamundi Temple, Kollegal are good but the ones with residential areas are very bad. Hope the concerned will look into it and take up the needed repair works at the earliest.
