Potholes and craters on Nrupathunga Road

July 22, 2024

Sir,

Nrupathunga Road, the main arterial road linking Kuvempunagar to Vivekanandanagar, was dug up to lay sewage lines. However, the road has not been re-laid, causing immense discomfort to citizens.

This road is used daily by thousands of commuters, including school children and the sick in ambulances. The potholes and craters are deep and wide.

The rains have made the road even more dangerous as vehicles are now driving over footpaths to avoid the potholes, increasing the risk of accidents.

I request the authorities concerned to kindly re-lay the road as early as possible.
