A tree that fell on overhead power lines opposite Gurudwara in Brindavan Extension yesterday snapped power lines and also brought down an electric pole plunging the area into darkness. The MCC’s Abhaya Team, which swung into action, cleared the fallen tree yesterday and the CESC staff were in the process of restoring power to the area this morning.
