Power of fascinating Numeral ‘8’

In Vedic astrology and Feng Shui, out of the numerals 1 to 9, the number 8 has a special meaning and position. Number 8 is the most fascinating and enigmatic single digit number. In Indian Vedic astrology, the number 8 is said to represent Lord Saturn and compass direction in Vaastu is West. In Feng Shui, the almanac is divided into 20-year cycles and each cycle has a reigning number, the current cycle is ruled by 8 and is referred to as “Period of 8.” The number 8 is very highly regarded as a particularly lucky number and is one of the three white numbers that bring prosperity and abundance. The numeral 8 is the symbol of infinity that is familiar to mathematicians if you rotate it 90 degrees. Hence in Feng Shui, the number 8 is highly revered. In mandarin, the word eight sounds like prosper or wealth (  = fā). which in turn is short for = fā cái which means get rich.

• 3 as these two numbers create the auspicious Ho Tu combination

• 2 creates the sum of ten with 8 and this is considered very lucky.

• 1 and 6 creates the magic of 168, a combination of three white numbers.
