‘Prabhigyan 2025’ Inter-Collegiate Fest held at MMK&SDM College

Mysuru: ‘Prabhigyan 2025,’ a two-day Inter-Collegiate Fest was organised by the Student Welfare Committee under the leadership of Jyothi Lakshmi G. Kava, Student Welfare Officer, at MMK&SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya in city recently.

The event was held in the college premises in the presence of all staff and students from all streams. Degree College Principal Prof. N. Bharathi, PU College Principal Prof. Nayana Kumari, IQAC Coordinator K.S. Sukrutha and Cultural Committee Coordinator Dr. Vinoda were present.

Kusuma Ayarahalli, a renowned writer and journalist, was the special guest on the inaugural day. The first day of the event Vigyan Sangram – comprised Science, Commerce and Management competitions with Prashanth Jain & Shivabeerappa and K.S. Sukrutha & Atiya Sameen as faculty coordinators.

A total of 121 participants from 26 various colleges participated in Tech Trek: Brainstorming  & Coding, Gurutva: Photography, Showcase Your Vision: E-Poster Presentation Challenge, Chem-Titans: Quiz Competition, Nitikrithi – A Business Plan, Nayak -The Best Manager, Pravarthana – The Marketing, Dhananithii – Finance, Manava Samsadhana – The HR.

The second day of the event had Sourabha – Cultural and Literary competitions with Dr. Vinoda & Ujwala Shetty as faculty coordinators.  A total of 137 participants from 30 various colleges participated in Swaram – Singing, Naadham – Instrumental, Thandavam – Dance, Vadanam – Face Painting, Sahithya Sutra – Literary, Soudhamini – Flash Fiction and Nikashopala – General Quiz.

The Jury members from different institutions and organisations declared the Winner and Runner prizes for each competition. Certificates were given to each participant. The overall                           Champions were decided by the tabulation committee including IQAC coordinator as one of the members.

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11 contestant-actor G. Rajath Kishan was the chief guest and renowned  actor – model Abhishek Das was the special guest during the valedictory function.

The chief guest and special guest distributed the cash prizes and certificates to all the winners and runners. The Overall Championship was won by the Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru.
