Prameela Murthy (80), a resident of Krishnamurthypuram, passed away yesterday in city following brief illness.

She leaves behind her husband retd. Principal of Yuvaraja’s College Prof. D. Narasimha Murthy, daughter Prof. N. Bharathi, son-in-law Dr. N.V. Raghavendra, son Dayanand Murthy and daughter-in-law Sushma Murthy, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday, according to family sources.
