Mysuru: In an early morning operation, the officials of Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), who swooped down on an illegal commercial structure in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, demolished the structure and   re-claimed the land.

The MUDA officials, who came to know that an illegal commercial complex was coming up on its land illegally, conducted the demolition operation with the help of a JCB and took the land under its custody.

MUDA officials upon learning that someone was constructing a commercial complex on their land, issued notice to the person who was said to be constructing the commercial complex. As the person failed to respond to the notice, the demolition drive was carried out.

Assistant Superintending Engineer M. Shivakumar, Executive Engineer Prabhakar, R.K. Raju, AEE Suresh Babu, Mahesh Babu and staff were present.
