Mysuru: A pregnant woman who was being brought to the city in an ambulance for delivery yesterday morning died en route to the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Bhagya (24) of Haadya village in Nanjangud taluk.

Bhagya, who complained of labour pain, was taken to PHC at Hura where she was referred to a Mysuru hospital.

Bhagya was being brought in an ambulance to Cheluvamba Hospital in the city, when she died midway, it is learnt.
