New Delhi:  The roar of tigers in Karnataka, the wild elephants, the Belur Temple, the darpana beauties of Halebid and the famous tourist destinations of Karnataka have come to visit Delhi.

Thanks to the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Karnataka, the week-long ‘Pride of Karnataka — Banada Baduku series by Lokesh Mosale’ photography exhibition at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, has got Karnataka close to Delhiites.

Speaking on the occasion, Pratibha Prahlad, head of the Delhi International Art Festival, said, “Western Ghats are a major attraction in the country. With art, culture, tourist destinations, wildlife, and naturally rich forests, the Western Ghats are enticing. It is a pleasure to capture such an aesthetic mine through photography.”

Speaking on the occasion, Nilaya Mitash, Resident Commissioner, said that the Department of Information and Public Relations has done a great job as it highlights Karnataka nationally and to attract visitors.

The Photo Exhibition, which  began on Dec.6, will conclude on Dec.12. Depending on the people’s response to the Show, we will decide on continuing the exhibition and taking it to other area, said Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Dr. Mysore Gireesha.

Wildlife photographer Lokesh Mosale said the expo helps them help wildlife and educate people about wildlife conservation.

Dr. Karthik of Karnataka Bhavan, Alka Pandey, Director of the Habitat Centre, were present during the inauguration.
