Prime Minister Scholarship for children of Ex-servicemen

Mysore/Mysuru: Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), Ministry of Defence, New Delhi, has informed that only 1,600 children of Ex-servicemen have applied for Prime Minister’s  Education  Scholarship whereas 5,500 children of Ex-servicemen are eligible for the said scholarship every year.

In order to avail the benefits, the eligible children are requested to apply for PM Scholarship immediately. 

Children of Ex-servicemen who have just joined first year MBBS, BDS, Engineering, Ag. B.Sc, BVSC, B.Pharmacy, etc., during the year academic year 2020-21 are eligible to apply. 

The application needs to be registered online. List of courses is available on ksb website [https://ksb.gov.in/]. Last date to apply is Feb. 28. For assistance, students may visit their nearest District Sainik Welfare Office along with relevant documents.  

The scholarship per year for boys is Rs. 30,000 and girls Rs. 36,000.
