The following students of Citizen Convent, Udayagiri, have bagged prizes in the 2022-23 District-level School Sports and Games Championship for Wrestling conducted by Department of Public Instruction, Mysuru, recently:
Under -14 (Boys)
Ibrahim Ansari – 62 kg category – 1st prize; Mohammed Umer Khan – 44 kg – 2nd prize; Mohammed Faraz – 68 kg – 3rd prize.
Under – 17 (Boys)
Aafrid Khan – 45 kg – 1st prize; Ruqeebuddin Samad – 48 kg – 2nd prize; Rehan Pasha – 55 kg – 3rd prize; Junaid Shariff – 65 kg 2nd prize; Mohammed Adnan Khan – 71 kg – 1st prize; Faizanshariff – 80 kg – 1st prize; Abdul Rahman Shariff – 110 kg – 1st prize. Citizen Convent was awarded the Overall Championship in Wrestling. All the 1st prize winners of the District-level Championship will be taking part in the State-level Wrestling Competition to be held at Vijayapura soon.
