Prize-winners of Mandavya Zone Basket Ball & Tennis Tourneys

The University of Mysore (UoM), Mandavya Zone Inter-Collegiate Basket Ball and Tennis (Men’s) Tournament 2023-24 organised by De Paul College, Avverahalli, Belagola, Srirangapatna taluk, was inaugurated on Nov. 6 by chief guest  Rev. Fr. Biju Scaria CM, Principal DPIRS.

Tournament Convenor V. Srinivasa, Physical Education Director GFGC, Koppa, Maddur, Vice-Principal  Dr. Joy Thuruthel CM and Physical Education Directors R. Angeline Francis Mary and John Holsat Haokip were present.

The Basketball Men’s Tournament was won by De Paul College, while the Runners-up spot went to PES College of Science, Arts and Commerce Basketball Men’s Team.

The tennis team of DePaul College which won second place in Mandavya Zone Inter-Collegiate Tourney.

In Tennis, Government First Grade College, Bharathi Nagar, Mandya, were the winners while De Paul College boys were  the Runners.

All the teams were felicitated by the Organising Committee of De Paul College.
