Prize-winners of Women’s Kabaddi Tournament

Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women, Mysuru, in association with the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore (UoM) and Teresian College, Mysuru, had organised the Women’s Kabaddi Tournament at Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women Sports Grounds recently.

Chief guest of the programme Prameela, National-level Kabaddi Player, Beat-Forester, Bengaluru, inaugurated the Tournament by watering a sapling. Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women Principal (in-charge) Dr. Nalini, Head, Department of Commerce, presided over the event.

Anthony Moses, Physical Education Director, Teresian College & Mysuru City Inter Collegiate Tournament (MCICT) Convenor, Basavaraju, Gazetted Manager, Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women, Udaya Kumar & Jayashree, Physical Education Directors, Maharani’s Commerce and Management College for Women and the Official In-Charge of the MCICT Men and Women Kabaddi Tournament, College Staff, students and Kabaddi players were present at the event.

Around 13 Colleges took part in the tournament.

Results

Final — Teresian College, Mysuru, BEAT Vidya Vikas FGC, Mysuru, 15-13.

Third Place — GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, BEAT Maharani’s Arts College for Women, Mysuru, 15-09.

First Semi-Final: Teresian College, Mysuru, BEAT GSSSIETW, Mysuru, 12-10.

Second Semi Final: Vidya Vikas FGC, Mysuru, BEAT Maharani’s Arts College for Women, Mysuru 20-10.
