Head-less Varsities

The post of VC for Gulbarga   University,  Women’s University in Vijayapura and Karnatak University in Dharwad has been lying vacant for the last one year.

The academic activities had taken a back seat due to the absence of the full-time VCs.

Things are learnt to have really gone out of control in Gulbarga University. Although the tenure of Search Committee constituted for the selection of VCs for all these three Universities would end on Aug. 27, no final decision had been taken.
