Prof. B. Krishna Rao (83), former Chairman, Department of Studies in Earth Science at Manasagangothri, resident of V.V. Puram, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held on Aug. 26 in city after his daughter arrives from abroad.
