Prof. B.S. Channabasappa (85), retired Professor of Sociology at Maharani’s College and a resident of Bengaluru, passed away on Dec. 5 in Bengaluru.

He leaves behind his wife, three sons and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Bengaluru yesterday, according to family sources.
