Prof. B.V. Mariyappa (90), a retired Professor and a resident of Jayalakshmipuram, passed away yesterday in city.

A relative of former MLC Tontadarya, he leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.

Cremation took place at the Hootagalli Electric Crematorium this morning.
