Mysuru: Prof. G.S. Shivashankara (80), retired Physics Professor of Yuvaraja’s College and former Joint Secretary of Sadvidya Educational Institutions, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday.
A resident of Kuvempunagar in city, he leaves behind his wife, two daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
