Mysuru: Kambeyanda Poly Cariappa (Ballachanda), a resident of #29 ‘Saikrupa,’ Vishweswaranagar here, passed away last evening. She was 91.
She leaves behind two sons — Prof. K.C. Belliappa, Chairman, Sree Cauvery Educational Institutions, Kuvempunagar, and K.C. Biddappa, former senior Vice-President of ITC — daughters-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Cremation took place at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon, according to family sources.
