Prof. V.M. Parvathamma (85), Professor of Botany and retired Principal of Maharani’s College, Mysuru, passed away last night at a private hospital.
A resident of Kuvempunagar, she leaves behind two sons and a daughter. Cremation will take place at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 4.30 pm today.
Prof. Parvathamma was formerly a Syndicate Member, University of Mysore and Patron of Science Forum.
