Prohibitory orders around exam centres

Mysore/Mysuru: With the second PUC supplementary exams scheduled to take place from Aug. 21 to Sept. 2, the City Police have clamped prohibitory orders in 200 mts radius around all the four exam centres in the city from 6 am to 6 pm on all days of the exam.

The exam centres are Maharaja’s PU College on JLB Road, Maharani’s Government PU College, D. Banumaiah’s Independent PU College and Sarada Vilas PU College, Krishnamurthypuram.

Accordingly, barring the examinees and the exam officials, no unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centres.

Also, photocopy shops in the vicinity of all the four exam centres have been ordered to shut down on all date of the exams.

Prohibitory orders has also been clamped in 200 mts radius of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Manasagangothri, Hunsur Road, today (Aug. 19) and tomorrow (Aug. 20), where the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will be conducting written competitive exam for recruitment to the posts of Sericulture Extension Officer.

Accordingly, barring the candidates and exam personnel, no unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the exam centre. Also photocopy shops in the vicinity of the exam centre have been asked to shut down on both the days, according to a press release issued by the Office of the City Police Commissioner.
