Project WASTE: Creative Reuse of Waste Cloths

October 30, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: The Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), Mysuru, continues its innovative initiative ‘Project WASTE – Creative Reuse,’ designed to inspire young minds to think creatively and responsibly about waste.

This unique programme encourages children to explore the artistic possibilities of discarded materials, turning them into meaningful and imaginative creations.

The upcoming session of Project WASTE will be held on Nov. 1 and 2, focusing on the theme ‘Creative Reuse Using Waste Cloths.’ The workshop aims to help children understand how everyday waste materials — especially old fabrics — can be transformed into beautiful art pieces through creativity and resourcefulness.

The sessions are open to children aged 7 to 14 years and will be conducted at the Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), Hardwicke School premises, JLB Road, Mysuru. Timings: Saturday from 3 pm to 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 12 noon.
