This refers to a recent newspaper report titled ‘How much can you save by switching to EVs in Karnataka?’

Savings by using different type of EVs (Electric Vehicles) as shown in the report is very interesting and attractive to note. But promotion of these vehicles needs redoubled efforts with a wide awareness among people of its total advantages along with its pollution-free quality.

Further, these manufacturers may enter into agreement with some established organisations/ governments/ institutions etc., to purchase these vehicles on  easy instalment basis through bank loans etc.

And, as a step of extra safety, manufacturers of these EVs may consider equipping them with some buzzing sound on roads instead of moving soundless even though it has its horn, as a special caution for motorists.
