Pt. Rajeev Taranath to inaugurate Antara Trust tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Sarod Maestro Pandit Rajeev Taranath will inaugurate the Antara Trust, a platform for promoting music, on Sept. 5 at 6 pm at a  programme to be held at #192 Sagarika, 2nd Main, 8th Cross, Vijayanagar 1st Stage, Mysuru.

Prof. H. S. Harishankar, retired Professor of Kannada, will be the chief guest. After the inauguration, two renowned artistes Mysore A. Chandankumar and Sameer L. Rao will present a flute jugalbandi. 

They will be accompanied by Mysore A. Radhesh on the mridanga and Adarsh Shenoy on the tabla. 

Antara provides a platform for musicians. In addition, it also intends to train those who are interested in music and sound technology, according to a press release from T. S. Venugopal, Trustee, Antara Trust [Mob: 99000-82773].
