Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep flagged off the ‘Cycle Rally’ to Bengaluru in which 12 Dermatologists from Pune are taking part as part of World Congress of Cosmetology and Dermatology convention to be held in Bengaluru from May 4 to 6. The rally was flagged off at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the  North Gate of the Palace yesterday morning.

The Dermatologists from Pune who arrived in the city on May 1 were received  by members of Mysore Dermatology Society.

The Cycle rally is aimed at creating awareness on skin diseases ahead of the 3-day 12th World Congress of Cosmetology and Dermatology convention.

The World Congress is jointly organised by the Indian Association of Cosmetics and Dermatologists (IACD), Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India (ACSI) and Mysore Dermatology Society (MDS).

MDS President Dr. K.A.K. Surendran, Secretary Dr. H. Bangaru, Immediate Past President Dr. Y.M. Shivakumar, Dr. Jayadev and others were present.
