Puttashetty (80), a retired Head Master and a resident of Hirebegur village, Harave hobli in the taluk, passed away this morning at his residence.
He leaves behind his son Somashekar, BJP District Slum Morcha President, two daughters, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his farm this afternoon, according to family sources.
