Puttaswamy (85), proprietor of Perfect Tailors at Nanjumalige Circle, passed away on Sept. 26 in city. He leaves behind his wife, three sons, including Dr. M.P. Basavaraju and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
