Puttaswamy Kempegowda (79), an ex-serviceman and a resident of Rajendranagar, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife, a adopted son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
