Puttaswamy (77), a retired teacher and a resident of Gayathripuram, passed away yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife Parvathamma, daughter Pushpalatha T.B. Chikkanna (former Mayor), two sons and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this morning.
