Quick fix for Positivity

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art and science which was developed over 3,000 years ago. It was designed to help balance energies or Chi within a space in order to promote harmony, good health and fortune. Its principles are based on the Taoist understanding of nature. Good Feng Shui in your home can help you rejuvenate body and mind, recover more rapidly from illnesses, minimise complications and support good health.

These principles can be used to stimulate the flow of love, money, luck and health. Here are eight simple ways that you can align yourself to be in the best energetic position to attract money into your life.

There is a popular misconception that Feng  Shui is all about wealth in the sense of prosperity, money, and getting rich. Although it can definitely contribute to improving your finances, wealth has a much larger meaning in Feng Shui and includes relationships, career and health. After all, how can one have a good life and enjoy it without good relationships and good health?

Classical Feng Shui is an ancient art and living science that uses very sophisticated and complex methods to enhance life through energy. It can improve your wealth, relationships, health and longevity.

For example, in Feng Shui it is said that in order to maximise  health and well-being, a house must be properly supported in the back, right and left side — support can be in the form of a retaining wall, thick landscaping or a building. For instance, if there is no support on the right-hand side — which is on the right as you look out your front door — it may indicate sickness for the female of the house.

Feng Shui does not mean only the right placement of things for prosperity, but it also means the development of the right attitude in life. According to Feng Shui, you can make more wealth once you learn to live generously. This is because money is a type of energy that has to be made to not only into your life, but also to flow through your life. If you don’t have money to share, you can always give your time, appreciation and compassion to others for greater abundance in life. From the practical aspect, one can harmonise the home for positivity, good luck and happiness through simple decor and placement of basic symbolism. Here are two simple basic rules which could be beneficial:

• Colours have the ability to impact our mood and also our energy. Red is a particularly auspicious colour and represents power. Purple and green also hold the vibration of attracting prosperity. The colour hues you choose to decorate with also need to match your personality and the tone you want to create.

• The state of the water in your home mirrors your finance. Hence, dripping or leaking taps, stagnant water around the house or broken fountains are not conducive to prosperity. Water based art work or mirrors that are higher than your nose also not in line with prosperity. Similarly, a mirror or water-based picture should never be hung above the bed.
