Although Feng Shui has laid down the basic requirements and cures to activate good Feng Shui, one of the easiest way to increase your own personal Chi of abundance is through gratitude.

Feng Shui can effectively bring about changes in a person’s life and not only for wealth and health but can improve harmony and create cordial atmosphere at home. A good Feng Shui house has good Feng Shui anchored in its main energy centres — the bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen.

A home or business has interior factors and exterior factors that influence you and your mood. Shape of the house, floor plan, positions of bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, desks, have an unseen psychological effect on you. History of the house, electro-magnetic energies emitted by electrical connections and cable, telephone, satellite dishes can have either positive or negative effects on you depending upon the sort of person you are. Similarly beams, lights, plants, water and influences of people surrounding you also have some role to play.

Creating auspicious Feng Shui means channelising excellent energy that brings not only harmony into a home but also good health, happiness and prosperity to its occupants. To assure the right choice of property, certain elements need to be studied before the purchase. The location, neighbourhood and lot placement are the critical points to consider.

From Feng Shui perspective, it does not matter whether your home is big or small. However, what matters most is that the home should vibrate with positive energy flow. The space that reflects the spirit of your home and the essence of your true personality is a vibrant space. The home should embrace a sense of comfort, beauty and style and give a warm feeling and a feel of secureness.

Organising the space and orienting things to garner support and improve prosperity is the primary focus while adapting Feng Shui. The time-tested solutions in Feng Shui aids in activating specific aspirations in our lives.

  • Light brings a vital source of energy and is the key element to setting the mood of any space. Depending on what you are trying to achieve, light can help highlight or tone down certain areas of the room. Fluorescent lighting helps flood the room with an ambient feel.
  • All the things kept in your bedroom should be in good condition. Remove anything that is broken or damaged. It only indicates a broken relationship.
  • Burning out a candle can clear the space of any negative vibes; it also helps to heal negative feelings of people living in the same place.

Although Feng Shui has laid down the basic requirements and cures to activate good Feng Shui, one of the easiest way to increase your own personal Chi of abundance is through gratitude. Being grateful to the universe for having bestowed abundance and given us all that we have is expressing a sense of contentment and gratitude.

Being thankful for what we have in our life, will attract the energy of abundance.
