The Bharadwaja Branch of Bharat Vikasa Parishad will be conducting its annual ‘Bharat Ko Jano’ quiz contest for school and college students at Gopalaswamy Shishuvihar near Nanjumalige in Lakshmipuram at 10 am on Aug. 26. The ‘Bharat Ko Jano’ quiz contest will be held under two categories: Students from 6th to 8th standards (junior) and students from 9th to 12th standards (senior). Only two students from each school can take part. There will also be a group singing contest (Rashtriya Samooha Gayana) in Hindi and Sanskrit for students of classes 6 to 12. Each school can be represented by a single team comprising a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 students, according to a press release. Last date for registration for both the contests is Aug. 23.
