Mysore/Mysuru: NPS International School, Mysore, hosted Quizanza, the first mega inter-school quiz competition at its premises recently.
Twenty teams from ten Schools from in and around Mysuru took part in this quizzing extravaganza. Power-packed with five rigorous rounds that was a test of intellect, knowledge, spontaneity and agility, this event was planned, organised and executed by the students of classes 11 and 12.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal Akhila Dinesh said that participation is more important than winning and congratulated all participants. The event was interspersed with cultural and literary treats that included music, dance and trivia.
Principal of Mahajana Public School Rajeshwari Iyer and Principal of Police Public School Rennie Joseph Mendonce, who were chief guests, complimented the student body of NPSI for having put up such a wonderful show.
After five rounds of tough competition, NPS HSR, Bangalore, represented by Aryan Sandeep Dixit and Omkar Anand Bajaj, emerged as winners and bagged the rolling trophy of Quizanza.
Hananeel Ephraim Mandam and Sabharinath from NPS Rajajinagar, Bangalore, bagged the first runner up position while the second runner up place was bagged by Kashish Sharma and Kishen Saichinmayi Mattam from Podar International School, Mysuru.
