R. Dhruvanarayan files nomination in Chamarajanagar

Chamarajanagar: Sitting Congress MP R. Dhruvanarayan, who has been re-nominated by the party, filed his nomination from Chamarajanagar (SC) LS seat at the District Administration Bhavan here this morning. Dhruvanarayan was accompanied by Backward Classes Development Minister C. Puttarangashetty, party MLAs Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, R. Narendra and Anil Chikkamadu. Earlier, Dhruvanarayan visited B.R. Hills Temple in Yelandur taluk and offered prayers. He later visited Taranath Boudha Vihara, Kolada Ganapathi temple and Chamarajeshwara Temple.

Thereafter, Dhruvanarayan went in a procession from Chamarajeshwara Temple along with hundreds of supporters to the District Administration Bhavan, where he submitted his nomination papers to DC B.B. Cauvery.

Later speaking to press persons, Dhruvanarayan said he won by 1.41 lakh votes in 2014 and he was confident of increasing this margin this time.
