R. Subramanya (62), a civil contractor and a resident of B.M. Sri Nagar here, passed away at a private hospital in city yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife Manjula, three children, brothers and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds at Bannimantap this afternoon, according to family sources.
