Mysuru: Rachaiah (65), a resident of Gandhinagar behind Durga Devi Temple, passed away following illness at K.R. Hospital in city in the early hours of today.
He leaves behind his wife Sannamma, children Ramanna, Lakshmana, Shivaraj and Veena and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Adijambhava Burial Grounds at Gandhinagar this afternoon.
