Rachaiah (95), a resident of Tottawadi village in T. Narasipur taluk, passed away yesterday at his residence following age related ailments.
He leaves behind his wife, two sons including Mysore University Evening College lecturer Dr. R. Ningaraju, three daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Tottawadi Burial Grounds yesterday evening, according to family sources.
