Rachamma (70), wife of late Basavaiah and a native of Nidaghatta village in Malavalli taluk of Mandya district, passed away this morning at a private hospital in city following brief illness.
She leaves behind five sons, daughters-in-law, one daughter, son-in-law, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites will be held at the agricultural land of the deceased in the village today or tomorrow (May 8), according to family sources.
