Rachanayaka (80), a Congress leader, Member of Land Tribunal, Director of Karnataka Road Development Corporation Limited and a resident of Kalale village in the taluk, passed away this morning at the village.
He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Kalale village this afternoon.
