Bengaluru: AICC President Rahul Gandhi arrived at Belagavi this afternoon to take part in the three-day second leg of ‘Jan Aashirwad Yatra’ in the State.
Rahul Gandhi will hold a public meeting at Athani in Belagavi district, following which he will take part in Sthree Shakti Samavesha at Tikota in Vijayapur district.
On Sunday, Rahul will tour Vijayapur and Bagalkot districts and on Monday (Feb.26), Bagalkot, Belagavi and Dharwad districts.
Amit Shah to arrive this evening: Even as Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi arrived to take part in the 3-day tour of Northern Karnataka (Mumbai-Karnataka) district, BJP National President Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in the State this evening to tour Hyderabad-Karnataka districts. He will tour Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Vijayapura and Bidar on Feb.25 and 26.
