This has reference to my letter titled, “No extension of rebate in water bill for adopting rain water harvesting” published in SOM dated Feb.2, 2023. Subsequent to my letter, I lodged my petition in Mayor’s online adalat.

After a few days, I received a telephone call from water meter reader and he asked me to submit my application afresh in the matter. As I had obtained acknowledgement on Sept. 22, 2022 from VVWW, I asked the necessity of fresh application  and I did not submit again.

Now the fate of my online petition is not known to me and how it has been disposed also not informed. The Mysuru City Corporation’s (MCC) online system does not permit me to lodge a petition again.

Now I have received water bill for the month of March 2023 and April 2023 but rebate for the same has not been extended.

I am totally dissatisfied with the attitude of VVWW officials.

Once again on behalf of all the residents who have installed rain water harvesting facility, I am highlighting the grievance.
