Mysuru: As part of Raitha Dasara to be held from Sept. 22 to 24 at J.K Grounds here, a sports meet has been organised for farmers (men and women) on Sept. 23. For men, the games include Sack Race, Hopping race, Boulder-lifting, running with a 50-kg sack. For women the games include running with a pitcher filled with water and lemon and spoon race.

The first prize for each category is Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 for the second and Rs. 2,000 for the third prize winners.

Interested farmers can register their names at the respective Farmer Contact Centre or Assistant Director (Agriculture) of respective taluks.
