Mysore/Mysuru: Saraswathipuram Kannada Geleyara Balaga, Mysuru, has organised various programmes and contests at Javaregowda Park in Saraswathipuram here from today (Nov. 26) till Nov. 29 as part of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations. Rangoli contest for women was held this morning
Nov. 27 – 8 am: Drawing competition for school children residing at Saraswathipuram; 2 pm: Sports for women; 6 pm: Cultural programmes by children of Saraswathipuram.
Nov. 28 – 5.30 pm: Felicitation for achievers at the stage programme to be inaugurated by MLA L. Nagendra. Dr. Bhashyam Swamiji, former Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa, Industrialist Mahesh Shenoy, Y.S. Satyanarayana and International Sportsperson Deia Urs will be felicitated. Mayor Shivakumar, Corporator Vedavathi and industrialist Satish will be present. Stage programme will be followed by music programme by S. Krishnamurthy and troupe.
Nov. 29 – 5.30 pm: Valedictory programme; former MLA Vasu will preside. Mayor Shivakumar, University of Mysore (UoM) former Physical Education Director C. Krishna, B.S. Prashanth and P. Nagendra chief guests.
