Ramdas performs ‘Guddali Puja’ for road development and widening works

Mysore/Mysuru: K.R. MLA S.A.Ramdas performed Guddali Puja for road widening and development works at Srirampura coming under his Constituency yesterday.

The 1.1 km stretch of road leading from BEML Arch near the last bus stop at Srirampura to Manandavadi Road is being widened and  developed at an estimated cost of Rs.2.5 crore, with funding from the Chief Minister’s special SFC grant.

Later, speaking to presspersons, Ramdas said that it is vital for maintaining quality in works and it is the responsibility of the local people for ensuring it. He further said that more development works will be taken up in the Constituency soon.

Referring to the measures taken for preventing the spread of COVID-19, the MLA said that the K.R. Constituency Task Force meeting was held yesterday afternoon, where further measures to be taken for making the entire Assembly segment free of the deadly virus were discussed and decisions taken.

Corporator Geetha Yoganand, local leader Girish, PWD Engineer Raju and other officials were present.
