After watching a resplendent illumination of Mysuru city last night and staying over, hundreds of tourists headed towards Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary this morning with their cameras and binoculars. Till 11 am, more than 500 tourists went in boats and since the last three to four days, over 10,000 have visited.
Compared to Ranganathittu, there are not many takers for KRS Dam as tourists come here only in the evenings for the sound-and-light show.
Mysuru Zoo, Chamundi Hill and Mysore Palace saw about 8,000 visitors till noon today.
