Rangapravesha by Vietnamese

Mysore/Mysuru: The Rangapravesha of Nguyen Manh Tung from Vietnam will be held as part of the 41st edition of Vasundharotsava 2025 organised by Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre (VPAC) at Vasundhara Bhavan, Kalandhika Academy, Saraswathipuram, tomorrow (Nov. 26) from 6 pm to 8.15 pm.

Nguyen Manh Tung has been learning Bharatanatyam — one of the most famous Indian classical dances — under the guidance of Central Sangeet Natak Academy recipient Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy.

Like all other students of Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, he brings in his dance every nuance of his Guru’s graceful as well as vigorous dancing style which is typically named Vasundhara Style of Bharatanatyam.

Tung has learnt and understood the sensitivities of the new culture that he has embraced through his deep-seated interest for learning Bharatanatyam and also made dancing an important part of life and career.

In 2023, he successfully completed his Bharatanatyam Senior Exam certified by the State Government of Karnataka, in distinction and is currently preparing himself for the next level.

Tung has also learnt Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from his Guru Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, who is also an excellent Yoga teacher.
