Rashtriya Yuva Sangeethotsava concludes

Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji seen addressing at the valedictory of the four-day Rashtriya Yuva Sangeethotsava at Nada Mantapa in city yesterday as Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji amd Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji look on.

Mysuru:  “A good coordination between vocal rendition and accompanying instruments evolve soothing music. Similarly, a harmonious life is possible only if there is good coordination among people,” said Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji.

He was speaking at the valedictory of the four-day Rashtriya Yuva Sangeethotsava at Nada Mantapa in Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama on Nanjangud Road here yesterday organised in association with Samskara Bharathi.

Explaining further, the Swamiji said that lack of harmony and coordination in society leads to scuffles and unrest. He said that rays of light from Sun and Moon are same but rays from Sun are intense while that reflected from Moon are soft and light. He pointed out that the messages of all saints and sages are basically same in spiritual sense.

He said a cow whether black or white in colour is worshipped equally.  Music whether Karnatak or Hindustani is great and soothing as per individual preference, said the Swamiji.

Speaking on the occasion, Sangeethotsava Cultural Convener and Veena Maestro M. Manjunath regretted that a suitable platform was not being provided for classical music which needs to be encouraged.

Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji amd Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha  Swamiji graced the occasion. Samskara Bharathi Founder and Organising Secretary Baba Yogendraji, National Secretary Dr. Chetan Joshi and others were present.

The event featured 180 young artistes rendering music and 32 seminars deliberate on various issues pertaining to music.
