Mysuru: JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, B.N. Road, Mysuru, had organised a programme to felicitate its cadets — Junior Under Officer M.U. Manju and Junior Under Officer K.N. Karthik who participated in the Republic Day Parade-2018 at New Delhi and Junior Under Officer Arpitha Thomas who participated in the Tal Sainik Camp in Sept. 2017.

Commanding Officer, 14 KAR BN NCC, Mysuru, Col. M.P. Aravind inaugurated the programme. Congratulating the RDC and TSC cadets, he said that from Mysuru Group only one Junior Under Officer Manju had participated in Rajpat Marching Contingent in RDC.

He added that, as the NCC cadets have got the basic defence training they should become role model to other students and join an Indian army.

Prof. M. Mahadevappa, Principal, presided. S. Somashekar, Principal, PU College, Lieutenant Dr. L.Vinaykumar, NCC Officer and Subedar Major Raghukumar from 14 KAR BN NCC Mysuru were present.  

Junior Under Officer Harshitha Jeevan welcomed. Cadet J. Manasa rendered the invocation. Sgt. Savitha compered and Cadet Radha proposed a vote  of thanks.
