Prof. S.R. Niranjana (right), former Vice-Chancellor, Gulbarga University and presently the Chairman of Department of Biotechnology, University of Mysore, was conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of National Academy of Sciences, India (FNASI) during the 89th National Session of NASI at NARM, Hyderabad, recently. Padma Bhushan Prof. G. Padmanabhan, former Director, IISc., Bengaluru and President, National Academy of Sciences India, presented the Award to Prof. Niranjana.
