Rectify snag in online payment of Water Bills

When Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) introduced online payment for water bills a couple of months ago, the consumers were elated and also relieved, as it could be done hassle-free at the click of a button, sitting at home, office or anywhere.

However, the happiness seems to be short-lived, as there is a problem with online payment from September. I tried last month but in vain. Then I had to go to the office personally to pay it. This month is no different, as it repeatedly says, “Sorry, unable to process your request this time. Please try later!”

While CESC (Electricity Corporation) could make it work perfectly since its launch, why can’t the Water Works? Hope the authorities concerned will look into this matter.
